AIFM

We are authorised as a full scope Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) in the UK and Luxembourg, acting as AIFM to funds investing in illiquid assets.
What we do
Under AIFMD, alternative investment funds managed in or marketed into Europe (including the UK) typically require a regulated AIFM, in particular to access the marketing passport that enables distribution across EU member states. As an independent specialist, Langham Hall acts as host AIFM for managers that do not hold their own AIFM permissions, providing governance, oversight and the operational framework expected by investors and regulators.
Where appropriate, we combine host AIFM services with fund administration and depositary services, giving managers a joined-up operating model across middle and back office.
