Langham Hall UK AIFM Statement of engagement with UK Stewardship Code

Langham Hall Fund Management LLP (UK AIFM) – UK Stewardship Code 2026

Under COBS 2.2.3 of the FCA Handbook, we are required to disclose the nature of our commitment to the Financial Reporting Council’s UK Stewardship Code (the “Code”).

The Code sets high stewardship standards for those investing money on behalf of clients and beneficiaries, and those that support them. The Code comprises a set of 12 ‘apply and explain’ principles for asset managers and asset owners, designed to promote sustainable, long-term value creation. Adherence to the Code is voluntary.

Langham Hall UK AIFM supports the principles of the Code, and welcomes the updated form of the Code adopted in 2026. Langham Hall UK AIFM provides host AIFM services and therefore engages with a wide range of managers across illiquid asset classes. The investment objectives, target investors and restrictions of the funds that we manage are widely different so one overarching policy on stewardship to cover every sector and circumstance would not be possible, and may risk confusing rather than clarifying our approach.

Langham Hall UK AIFM therefore does not consider it practicable at this time to commit to full adherence to the Code.

We are committed to promoting the principles of the Code and to highlighting them to service providers that we engage in relation to the funds that we manage. We continue to review and enhance our internal processes to strengthen our focus on responsible allocation, management and oversight of capital, integrating long‑term risks and opportunities into our approach where appropriate. This includes appropriate due diligence and oversight of our delegates and service providers.

We will keep our position under review as investment practices continue to mature across the industry and as stewardship expectations continue to evolve. Our goal is to ensure that we contribute positively to market integrity and responsible investment as these standards develop.
