Langham Hall is pleased to announce the opening of our Netherlands branch. The office opening follows the appointment of Willem-Jan Pelle as Director, Langham Hall Netherlands.
Willem-Jan brings a broad range of skills to Langham Hall. He has a legal and tax background, and has been involved in private equity and real estate for over 30 years. Following 3 years in private practice, Willem-Jan joined Dutch listed international property company Wereldhave in 1986. He spent three of those years in New York and subsequently became Head of Legal Affairs. In 1994, Willem-Jan moved to the Dutch pension fund manager MN to serve for 11 years as Head of Legal and Tax and Compliance Officer of the investment department. In 2005, he became Managing Director at Composition Capital Partners, one of the first private equity real estate fund of funds, with offices in Amsterdam and Hong Kong and assets under management of EUR €2 bn. More recently Willem-Jan has been advising clients mainly on the development and promotion of the AIFMD depositary function and related private equity and real estate services.
Bringing this experience together, Willem-Jan is looking to grow Langham Hall’s Netherlands operation by offering a personal and professional service to clients whilst ensuring second-to-none delivery and quality.
