Rob Short

Rob Short is Managing Partner and founder of Langham Hall. Previously he was an Executive Director of Goldman Sachs in London and New York. At Goldman Sachs Rob led the European real estate fund administration team administering the Whitehall funds, controlling financial information and reporting on $12bn of funds with operating partners in a dozen countries. Rob was also involved with deploying the Whitehall administration in Tokyo. Before founding Langham Hall, Rob spent three years on the board of a global fund administration business where he was responsible for setting up their London and New York fund offices. In addition he led the expansion of funds under administration from $14bn in 2002 to $80bn in 2005. Rob qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Robson Rhodes, specializing in Unit Trusts and Investment Trusts. He holds a degree in real estate and recently sat on the INREV reporting committee.

Andrew Read

Andrew Read is a partner and leads the business in Asia, being directly involved with the client work in the region. Andrew has 20 years of experience in financial services and fund management and 11 years of business experience in Asia. Latterly he was with McKinsey & Co. as an Associate Principal in their Tokyo office, serving FIG clients on business strategy issues across Asia. Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in London and Jersey, and is a graduate of Cambridge University. He sits on the ANREV Professional Standards Committee.

Mark Coppin

Mark Coppin is Head of Private Equity at Langham Hall. An experienced private equity professional, Mark previously lead the Portfolio Servicing division at Capital Dynamics, the Swiss asset manager with over USD 20 billion assets under management. There he was responsible for growing and developing several teams reporting to investors. Mark has over 12 years of private equity, fund of funds, and special purpose vehicles experience. He has also previously worked for 3i plc in London where he undertook several roles including the financial reporting of private equity funds and investor relations for unquoted funds. Mark is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Paul Mundell

Paul Mundell is Head of Real Estate and joined Langham Hall in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a Director at Invista REIM, a UK listed real estate fund manager where he headed up the accounting, pricing and reporting teams responsible for 15 UK funds totaling £4.6bn in AUM. Clients included Lloyds Banking Group, St James Place Wealth Management, Equitable Life and Invista Foundation Property Trust. Prior to Invista, Paul held the position of Financial Controller at Edinburgh House Estates Ltd, a property investment specialist company whose equity grew from of £1m in 2001 to £165m in 2007, primarily through investment and development property in both the UK and continental Europe. Paul also worked for Taylor Wimpey on the residential development side of the business, specialising in joint ventures and project accounting on a number of high profile developments. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and holds the Investment Management Certificate (CFA).

David Adler

David Adler is Head of Business Development at Langham Hall. He joined from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 13 years specialising in both assurance and advisory services to real estate and private equity providers/funds together with private banking clients. During his time at PwC he was responsible for running the audits of major global clients across various jurisdictions; he has led due diligence and transaction support to a number of investment management and property fund clients. In the last two years David led the PwC offering around Property Derivatives and sits as the technical advisor to the Property Derivatives Interest Group (PDIG). David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1998.

Louise McGowan

Louise is Chief Operating Officer at Langham Hall. She has over 15 years experience in Private Equity fund administration both offshore and onshore. Latterly, Louise was the Operations Manager at Park Square Capital LLP, a leading independent provider of credit products in Europe managing and advising over $3.5 billion of capital including the largest independent mezzanine fund in Europe. Louise’s responsibilities included the set up and administration of a number of fund structures and their associated carry vehicles. Previously Louise was a Fund Financial Accountant at Electra Partners. She has a BSc in Business Economics from Salford University.
